A superb intricate and fine presentation satinwood writers desk displayed with desirable aged patina and in great working order.  It sits proud on four satinwood fluted legs intricately designed and made.  The green leather writers section is original and shows off its usage charm from over the years.  It’s banded around the piece with fine tulipwood, boxwood stringing and ebony inlay giving the desk finish one of high quality.  Makers label is situated underneath the desk: “Mellier & Co Albemarble W London”.  The desk was made during the late 19th century.

Condition report: It has a few small old repairs along the beading and legs but generally in good order.
